Hawkinge Village Hall is one of the last remaining old style buildings in the village still in use as a community facility.

The hall is used by many local groups in the village who need a cost effective alternative smaller space to hire than the larger Community Centre.

The Village Hall has secured funding to carry out important refurbishment work and the committee is working on some exciting new events over the coming months.

The first event is an old style 'Village Fayre' which will be held on Saturday 27th March from 10 until 3pm. Among the many stalls there will be home made cakes and preserves, plants, crafts, bric a brac, tombola as well as refreshments.

All the proceeds will be going to the Village Hall refurbishment project.
