I want a White Christmas season, so I visit Folkestone says American visitor

So impressed is he by the 'real winters' in Folkestone and the Channel Coast that American record holding Channel Swimmer Peter Jurzynski has travelled thousands of miles to be back in Folkestone for the snow.
 


"As a New Englander it is hard to say this but Folkestone seems more wintery than the cold Northeast United States, he said.

"The temperature is much colder at home in Connecticut yet it is a dry cold.

 

"Folkestone's winters are beautiful yet far more challenging than I initially thought."

Peter wishes everyone a Merry Christmas.
