Staff shocked at sudden closure of Churchill Hotel in Dover

The 81 bedroom, Churchill Hotel in Dover, which is part of the Best Western Group has closed.

Shocked staff at the hotel on Dover seafront were called to a meeting on Wednesday (January 27) to be told of the decision to shut the hotel.

The Health Club which operates a spa and hair and beauty salon within the hotel will also cease trading.

Best Western reservations team are making alternative arrangements for guests who had already booked rooms.
