Transmanche boost for Marsh tourism

News


Representatives of tourism, environmental and educational organisations and local authorities on both sides of the Channel are holding a three-day meeting starting today (January 26-28) to discuss new initiatives to benefit the Romney Marsh.


It includes visits to the Royal Military Canal, Dungeness, ancient churches, windfarm and other landmarks of the Marsh.

The event is organised by the Kent Wildlife Trust; Shepway District Council; Canterbury City Council; CAB; Discover Folkestone, Hythe & Romney Marsh and Boulogne Shepway Co-Operation Organisation.
