Hundreds of jobs have been created by three new supermarkets, including one at Charlton Green in Dover, which opens today (25 January).

The Morrisons store in Dover is employing 200 people. Two other sites at Streatham, south London, and Willenhall, near Wolverhampton in the West Midlands, are also opening their doors today. In total the company is creating around 800 new jobs.

The three new stores are part of a nationwide expansion plan, which will see the supermarket giant increase selling space by one million square feet over three years.
