The new High Speed train service from Dover to St Pancras has proved so popular that the number of carriages has had to be doubled.

Southeastern increased length of the 6.42am Dover Priory to St Pancras via Folkestone from six to 12 cars.

A spokesman said: "To have to extend the Dover Priory service to 12 cars is exceptional and is a reflection of just how much time passengers are saving."
