More than 100 jobs go as Dover building firm collapses

A Dover-based construction company has collapsed with the loss of more than 100 jobs.
 

RJ Barwick which traded in Coombe Valley Road in the town has called in administrators.

BDO Stoy Hayward were called in by the 150-year-old company at the end of August.

The firm, which had an annual turnover of around £25m, worked mainly in the schools and social housing sectors and had Kent County Council as one of its major clients.
