Bank Holiday crack down on drunken behaviour in Dover

Police are cracking down on anti-social behaviour in Dover by enforcing a new scheme during the Bank Holiday Weekend.

The three strikes scheme targets drunk and disorderly behaviour in the town.

Anyone arrested for an offence while under the influence of alcohol is issued with a warning yellow card but if they are caught committing another offence within 12-months, a red card will be issued and any further offences could result in an Anti-social behaviour order (Asbo) being being issued.

The Asbo would ban the offender from town centres in the evenings.
