Danton Pinch buried under Goodwin sands

Dear Editor,

As far as I recollect, Danton Pinch is now buried under about six metres of sand.

The sand was taken from the South Goodwin and washed with fresh water and is now under one of the assembly car parks at the Channel Tunnel terminal.

Not much use I know and some would call it progress.
