The annual Dover Lions' Publicans' Fancy Dress Charity Walk took place on Sunday along Dover Seafront despite the clash with the Bleriot celebrations.

Five local pubs took part in the walk to raise money for the Dover Lions, walking a total of six times along the seafront.

The most successful pub of the day was the Cinque Port Arms, who not only won first place in the individual entry and second place in the group entry for their Magic fancy dress theme, but also had the first three people to finish the course.

The winners in the group section were the White Horse public House with their Doctor Who theme.
