The 15-year old was one of 18 youngsters from Dover, Deal and Folkestone who performed with the National Youth Theatre at the Bleriot celebrations on Saturday (25 July)

And Ben was in Canterbury the following day, rehearsing for the Phoenix Performing Arts' summer production of Fame, which will take place in the Gulbenkian theatre between 9 and 11 September.

Between rehearsals for Fame, he will be shooting his third short film in under 12 months, after winning a leading role at auditions held in Dover last week. The filming will also take place in Dover and is hopefully, like his last two films, intended for the national and international market.

Ben said, "I'm certainly going to be kept busy over the next month, but at least it will keep my mind off my GCSE results, which are due on 27 August. I'm hoping to do really well, so that I can take up my sixth form studies in Music, Drama, Sociology and English Literature at the Girls' Grammar School next year."
