A helicopter from Belgium was called to rescue six people, including two children from cliffs near Dover after they were cut off by the tide.

According to Dover Coastguards, the six, believed to be family members, were cut off after climbing 25ft up the cliffs on the east side of Dover harbour, near St Margaret's Bay yesterday evening (27 July).

The coastguard helicopter from Belgium was scrambled and winched them all to safety.
