Sure Start Dover, Deal and Sandwich Children's Centre have announced their annual Teddy Bears Picnic will take place on Friday 14th August between 11.00am and 2.00pm at Crabble Athletic Ground in Dover.

Sure Start  is a Government funded, non profit making and aims to help the communities within the Dover, Deal and Sandwich areas, supporting families with children under fiver years of age.

Every year they hold the popular Teddy Bear's Picnic with bouncy castles, an entertainer, a disco, tombola, table top fayre, and raffle.

Dawn Hughes, Team Leader at Sure Start said: "Some 200 families came along to last years picnic and we hope to have even more attending this year.

"Entrance is by contribution and families are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch and drinks with them although an ice cream and refreshments and snacks stand will be available."
