Police say the man, who has not been named, was found in Clarendon Street, Dover, at about 3.00pm yesterday (15 July). He died on the way to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.

Kent Police said the cause of the man's death would be the subject of a post-mortem examination.

A spokeswoman for Kent Police added: "The man, aged 31, was taken by ambulance to William Harvey Hospital but died en route.

"A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is helping police with their inquiries."
