The 2009 Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Hawkinge Community Centre is due to take place on Friday (12 June).

The meeting, which is open to all members of the Charity, will begin at 7.30pm in the Community Centre, Heron Forstal Avenue, Hawkinge.

Chairman, Tony Hutt said he would like to see a big turnout at the meeting.

"There is a small membership fee of £5 which gives members the right to vote on the future of the centre," he explained.

Two vacancies for Trustee/Directors are up for grabs, and it is hoped members will put their names forward to be voted onto the board.

The Hawkinge Community Centre has stepped up a gear since the new board took over last year and is keen to enrol more members to build on the success even further.
