Kent Police in Folkestone have arrested a man on suspicion of indecent assault and would like to hear from anyone who has experienced a similar incident.

At around midday on Tuesday (23 June) and 2.30 pm on Wednesday (24 June) a man was seen looking at girls and young women in an inappropriate way on the number 17 bus from Lyminge to Folkestone.

On Wednesday an 18-year-old woman was indecently assaulted by the man who touched her thigh several times.

There were a number of schoolgirls on the bus at these times and anyone with information about these incidents or any incidents of a similar nature, is asked to contact PC Matt Bilney on 01303 850055.

The man, aged in his 50s, is currently being questioned at Folkestone Police Station.
