Folkestone prepares for Hevy Music Festival 2009 - (Photo)

Top bands including Ash, Sonic Boom Six and Gary Numan will be rocking 'till late at Folkestone's summer music festival.
 

The town's seafront has recently been cleared in preparation for redevelopment, but before work starts, the Hevy Music Festival is to taking over this spectacular site for the massive music event.

Feeder will headline the main stage, with other confirmed acts including Ash, Gary Numan, Hundred Reasons, Kids In Glass Houses, Attack! Attack!, Sonic Boom Six, In Case Of Fire, Cancer Bats, Heartbreak, Flood Of Red, The Xcerts, Sharks, Farewell City, Mexico Fallz, and After The Ordeal.

The Hevy Music Festival takes place on Saturday 1 August and gates open at 1pm. Tickets are priced at £48 and are available in person from the Leas Cliff Hall, Folkestone or to buy tickets online, click here.https://kiosk.iristickets.co.uk/k?hmf

This is an age 14+ only event. It runs until approximately 11pm. Alcoholic and soft drinks will be available at the on-site bar, and a variety of hot and cold food will be on sale throughout the day.

There will be no on-site accommodation but there are plenty of places to stay in Folkestone.
