A student music festival with top acts The Zutons and Dizzee Rascall has hurriedly been moved from Cornwall to Port Lympne, near Hythe after councillors said no the event.

Thousands of people planning to go to the  festival in Cornwall have been told by the organisers of Beach Break Live that they couldn't get the right planning permission and councillors in St Agnes wouldn't allow it to go ahead.

It will now take place at Port Lympne, near Hythe.

People travelling by car will get £15 compensation and anyone who has a genuine reason for not being able to get to Kent will get a full refund.

The bill also features Noisettes, Friendly Fires and Ladyhawke with all tickets, priced at £95, sold out.

The festival takes place between 16-19 June.
