Village home gutted by fire

A blaze severely damaged at a house in Canterbury Road, Etchinghill on Tuesday (5 May).
 

The alarm was raised shortly before 6.00pm and crews from Folkestone and Hythe spent five hours at the scene.

A Kent Fire and Rescue spokesman said that 50 per cent of the top floor was destroyed.

No one was reported as being injured.
