Dover District Council has announced there will be free parking in many of town's Council-owned car parks.

Motorists will be able to park free between 4.00pm and 6.00pm from Sunday 24 May to 29 November.

It applies to the following car parks:

Pencester Road; Camden Crescent; Albany Place; Stembrook; Priory Road; and Maison Dieu.

This temporary reduction in charging hours represents the return of the temporary VAT reduction in car parking charges for Dover..
