Folkestone Camera Club meeting - 11 May 2009

Recently Roger Force FRPS DPAGB APAGB, returned to our club to judge our 6th and final print competition of the season. With his usual expertise, and hints and tips on how we could improve our entries his marks (out of 20) were:-


Novice:-

Intermediate:-

These Print Competitions have almost ended our 2008/2009 season, with only one more meeting, which will be the St. AUBYN CUP (Landscape Prints) PETER HERITAGE CUP (DPI Themed Comp. “Round & Round”) followed by our A.G.M on 18th. and Annual Dinner and Awards Night to follow on 22nd May.

We have had a very successful season and now have over 100 members. Our club is very strong, and we have so much to offer anyone who is interested in photography. Our programme covers many aspects of photography and we try to suit everyone's taste and ability Our motto is ‘We don’t Teach, But You Learn’. Our new season will commence on 7th September, and the Programme will be on our website for viewing from August.

Our meetings are held at the St Georges Church, Audley Road, (on the corner of Shorncliffe Road opposite West Station) Folkestone on Mondays at 7.45pm.
