Motorcyclist dies near Dover and motorist is seriously injured after crashing into house

One man has died and another has been seriously injured in two separate crashes near Dover yesterday (3 April).


A motorcyclist, who had been travelling towards Dover on the A256 just after 6.15am on a Yamaha Virago died after his bike hit a roundabout on a slip road to the A2 near Whitfield.

The 45 year-old rider was pronounced dead at the scene.

And shortly before 6.30am, a 33-year-old driver was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother hospital after his car crashed into a house near Ripple.

The man was suffering from suspected serious neck injuries.
