Lots of fun events this Easter in Folkestone town centre

Out & About

Youngsters and adults alike can look forward to fun days of entertainment in Folkestone town centre during the Easter holiday period.


The Bouverie Place Shopping Centre is organising stage entertainment, face painting and competitions.

And on Easter Saturday, Folkestone Town Centre Management is hosting a Petwise Zoo, when visitors can handle the animals.

Programme at Bouverie Place Shopping Centre:

Friday, April 3 - Sunday, April 19 - Colouring competition. Forms

available from stores and on website www.mybouverieplace.co.uk 

Tuesday, April 7 - Face painting

Friday, April 10 - Stage entertainment by Light Up Productions

Sat, April 11 - Entertainment by 'Sir Lupin of Pipwithers'

Monday, April 13 - Stage entertainment by Light Up Productions

Wed, April 15 - Clown Bluey Brattle

Friday, April 17 - Face painting

Events take will take place at various times during normal shopping hours

Every day - Hunt Pippa Pig window stickers in different stores

Town Centre programme outside Debenhams

Saturday, April 11 - Petwise Zoo

10.am - Open for visitors to look around and handle animals

10.15 - Easter Egg Hunt starts

10.3o - Animal grooming (cuddle and groom rabits and guinea pigs)

11.00 - Meet the Easter chicks and ducklings

11.30 - Easter animal game

12.00 - Parrot training

12.30 - Reptile feeding (help feed their lunch)

1.pm - Meet the Easter chicks and ducklings

1.30 - Pet problems: ask the experts

2.pm - Snake show and handling

2.30 - Easter animal game

3pm - Animal grooming (rabbits and guinea pigs)

3.30 - Zoo closes

Throughout the day there will be opportunities to handle animals under the supervision of trained staff, to ask questions and to take photographs.
