The first major Grasstrack of the season takes place this Sunday (26 April) in Swingfield, near Folkestone.
 

The racing is sure to be fast and furious on the newly prepared track surface and top solo and sidecar crews will travel from across the UK in a bid to win the Champion of Champions title.

Competitors in the 500cc include the winner of last year's event Jamie Rogers who faces strong opposition from Joe Screen, Paul Hurry, Tim Nobes, Paul Cooper, Lewis Denham, Charlie Saunders and Mitch Godden. The winner of the 500cc solo class will be awarded with the Phil Ambrose Trophy.

In the 350's British Champion Richard Smith faces a strong challenge from amongst others, Bob Dolman, Tom Perry, Matt Etherington, Dave Mears, Andrew Whittaker, Andy Melhuish and Mark Giles.

Reigning British Champion Paul Cooper heads the 250cc class but he will be pushed hard by Jamie Rogers, Adam Shipp, Paul Simmons, with up and coming youngsters Georgie Wood and Craig Drury.

Britain’s Top 18 1000cc Sidecars are entered which of course include Rob Bradley, Rob Wilson, Paul Whitelam, Steve Smith, Colin Blackbourn, Myles Simmons, Rod Winterburn, Matt Fumarola, John Hiscock, with Rob Wilson Junior making a welcome return racing and Paul Johnson making another comeback.

The 500cc sidecar list is led by the top 2 teams of Shaun Harvey and Nick Radley.
