Neighbourhood Watch

Kent Police are asking members of the public and in particular tradesmen, to be aware that Ford transit vans are being targeted in the South Kent policing area

Vehicles are being broken into and tools are being stolen.

Owners are asked to be extra vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police.

Wherever possible, park vehicles in a secure location.

If it is not possible to park in a secure location, take necessary crime prevention measures, such as parking so that rear doors are not accessible, under lights and/or where there is CCTV available.

Purchase vehicle alarms, and do not leave any items of value including sat navs and tools within them.
