Police in Folkestone are warning motorcycle owners to beware after four bikes were stolen this week.

A Honda SFX motorcycle was stolen from Claremont Road between Friday (27 February) and Monday (2 March).

Between Sunday night (1 March) and Monday morning (2 March), a Honda CG125 was taken from St Martin's Road and a Yamaha moped was taken from Joyes Road and a Yamaha YB100 was stolen from Quested Road and later found in an alleyway in Chart Road.

Officers are making enquiries with people suspected of being involved in the theft of motorcycles and would also like to hear from anyone with information.

PC Andy Perham said: "If you see a motorbike or moped being wheeled through the streets and it looks suspicious, please contact the police."
