A three vehicle crash on the A20 between Dover and Folkestone on Wednesday (25 March) left a German lorry driver in a critical condition.

The 30-year-old German man had to be cut from the wreckage and was flown to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford by air ambulance with serious leg injuries.

The three foreign HGVs, registered in Poland, Germany and Spain, collided on the coastbound carriageway of the A20 near the Court Wood interchange.
