Red nose council staff raise grand cash total for Comic Relief

Staff at Shepway District Council have raised more than £1,000 for Comic Relief.


Customer Services staff organised a fancy dress netball match which raised £774, GIS technician Stephen Palmer had his head shaved and raised £264, and a cake sale in the accounts department brought in £81.

Other events included a musical raffle, card game, and a joke-athon by Sports Development Officer, Wilbert Greaves.

The total raised was £1,268.
