Hawkinge Football Club are coming home to the Parish Council grounds next month.

Secretary of Hawkinge Youth Football Club, Jenny Davis said: "This is great news for us as a club to have a home ground again, and be able to train together as a whole club and not be spread around Hawkinge and Folkestone.

"Further progress has also been made with the football changing room project.

"The local senior teams have now ‘come onboard’ and will be working in partnership with both ourselves and the Parish Council.

"Their league will be hosting a 6-a-side tournament at the Parish Council grounds to raise money towards the project in mid May."

The club is due to move back on 1st April 2009.

There will be midweek training sessions as well as at weekends.

Members are asked to contact their coach for information on the days and times of training as this may differ from those during the winter months.
