Truck crashes through fence at Folkestone racecourse

Police have arrested a man following a report of a stolen tipper truck in Folkestone yesterday (19 March)  and found the vehicle.

A call to Police at around 12.35 pm was received after a man allegedly stole the truck in Ingoldsby Road, Folkestone and was seen heading towards the A20.

Patrols were alerted and managed to trace the truck which had crashed through a fence onto Folkestone race course close to junction 11 of the M20 motorway.

Shortly after 1.00 pm a 25-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of theft .
