Re: Hawkinge Parish Council minutes - 11 February 2009

I notice in your report of the Minutes of the Hawkinge Parish Council's February meeting that mention is made of a complaint to the District Auditor regarding the annual accounts of the Parish Council.

I also made a complaint to the Auditor based upon the same reason as for my earlier resignation from the Council. This being in objection to some items of expenditure which I consider to be grossly irresponsible and wasteful.

I also complained that detail of certain items of expenditure were kept from me as a Councillor and from members of the public who requested them.

I understand another complaint on the same matter was also made to the Auditor.
