Young Dover actors, Ben Steele and Saskia Wadsworth-Smith will be rubbing shoulders with the stars at the Marlowe Theatre on Sunday 22 March at the Night of a Thousand Stars.

Teenagers, Ben and Saskia are members of the Marlowe Youth Theatre, and, along with other members of the senior workshop team, have been invited to put on a performance during the star-studded grand finale gala show at the theatre before it closes for refurbishment.

The youth theatre's contribution is a closely-guarded secret, but will occupy a 10-minute slot in the show and will involve a skit on the changing face of the Marlowe Theatre.

The show will feature comedy, drama, classical music and pop, as well as performances from the local community and  promises to be a night to remember.

The line-up is a secret but the theatre say you can expect star names and some very familiar faces.

The Night of a Thousand Stars sold out on the first day that the tickets went on sale, but it is hoped that a video will be made available for all those who cannot make the show.
