Consumers have been receiving calls offering insurance of mobile phones. The rates that are offered appear to be extremely competitive but this may not really be the case.

It is easy to take up such offers but Trading Standards would suggest that you obtain other quotes before you accept any offer over the phone.

Remember also that it is essential to get the full details of the trader who you are dealing with, in particular their name and address and always think before you give your personal details to a stranger on the phone, they may not be who they say they are.
