With the target for the 1890 Leas Lift Carriage appeal in sight, it is hoped that a charity run at the end of March could take the fund and the competitors over the finishing line.

The 5km run will start and finish at the beginning of the coastal promenade in Sandgate and cash raised will help the appeal.

The race is taking place on Sunday 29 March at 10.00am.

Anyone wishing to compete can obtain an entry form from:-
