A birthing centre in Dover is trying to find its first baby born at the unit in the Buckland Hospital to help celebrate its 10th birthday.

Staff at the unit are hoping the family will come forward to join in the celebrations.

Hundreds of people are expected to visit the unit at the Buckland Hospital in Dover.

Sue Eaves, who manages the midwife-led centre, said: "We used to have in the old days big registers, but we do not use those now and they have actually been archived somewhere else.

"We could try and get those records but it would be a difficult task."
