Christmas spoilt after slipping on ice and fracturing wrist

Dear Editor,
Re: KCC and local council bureaucratic squabbles hampers gritting claims council opposition leader

I think this was the worst Christmas we have had for ages.

The last 5 years we had gone away but this year we decided to stay at home because of the recession.

The day before Christmas Eve I fell over in Maidstone on the ice which resulted in me fracturing my wrist on my right arm and I'm in plaster until Jan 11.

This has been an inconvenience to me and my family, and at the moment I am fed up because my employment involves a lot of work with my right hand on a computer and working with children and not being able to drive to work and having to be picked up .

When I went to the hospital I was number 213 of those seen that day.
