Police investigating an incident where a dog was found beaten to death under the arches at Folkestone Sunny Sands last week have made an arrest.

A 23-year-old man was arrested in Folkestone on Tuesday (22 December) on suspicion of animal cruelty.

He is currently on police bail whilst officers make further enquiries.

If anyone has any information that may help Kent Police and the RSPCA investigate the incident, they are asked to contact PC Eileen Dodd on 01303 850055.

It is very reassuring to hear that the police have made an arrest.

Is there any further news on this?

If convicted, the person responsible should be named and shamed in the public eye
