A new TV series under development at the Maidstone Studios will feature Dover actress Karol Steele in the opening episode and the title sequence.
 

Called 'Temptress', it is based on the portfolio collection of the same name by celebrity photographer Alistair Morrison.

Along the lines of How to Look Good Naked and Ten Years Younger, the show is aimed at women over 35, whose busy lives as a career women, wives, mothers or even grandmothers has made them lose touch with their original, younger selves.

Each episode will take a woman through a make-over session followed by a photography session with Morrison himself, where he will help the woman rediscover her hidden temptress; they then will then be presented with the portfolio of portrait photographs.

Morrison said, "Temptress will capture the empowerment of women, from a 'come hither' glance to an expression of total command, and each photograph will celebrate this unique quality in all women, which they feel they may have lost in their busy lives."

Karol took time out of her busy schedule at the Marlowe Arena, where she is working as Front of House entertainment for the pantomime Peter Pan with Ade Edmonson, to film test shots for the title sequence as The Temptress.

Karol will be the first subject of a Morrison make-over, and will feature in all the title sequences; she will start shooting the pilot episode in January after the pantomime has completed its run. If the pilot show proves to be a success, filming of the series will begin in the Spring.
