Thanks to Good Samaritans who came to my rescue

Have your say!

Dear Editor,

Through your website I would like to thank the Good Samaritans who came to my rescue after I was knocked down and injured during the Sandwich Lights Carnival.

The gentleman who, despite having his two young children with him, stayed with me until help arrived; the three First Aid trained firemen who tended to me until I could be taken to hospital; and the Bell Hotel for lending me a blanket to keep me warm.

Though badly bruised - both body and pride! - I am on the mend now, thanks to all of your prompt attention.

Yours
Karol Steele
