Mother with toddler fined £75 for feeding ducks in local park

A young mum who took her toddler son to the local park has been fined £75 by a council warden for feeding the ducks.


The mother, Vanessa Kelly and her 17-month-old son were making their weekly visit to feed the ducks at a Black Country park when they were approached by a council warden.

The warden told her it was not allowed to feed them in the park and she immediately stopped, thinking that was it.

But the warden then pulled out a hand-held computer and issued her with a £75 fine for littering.
