Starting their courses in 2008 with the computer learning and support organisation Training Highway, they received their from Michael Howard on Friday at the Salvation Army Hall in Folkestone.

Over 40 volunteers and learners attended the presentations.

Training Highway has also been running a range of courses for beginners and novice computer users at various locations around Folkestone, thanks to the funding provided last year by the De Haan Foundation, which also enabled the volunteers to undertake their courses.

Training Highway is the community-based, not-for-profit organisation that runs a complete learning and support system for all ages in many aspects of using computers and the Internet. They are currently running courses at the Salvation Army Hall and Cheriton Baptist Church Hall.
