The group, which is extremely welcoming and friendly, is run by two very dedicated and talented qualified teachers, Hilary Clarke and Trisha Sherratt.

Two years ago it was decided to combine with other activities in the village to promote the group and such was its success Trisha and Hilary challenged them last year to produce work for an exhibition in November 2009.

The exhibition is to take place in The Community Centre, Heron Forstal Avenue, Hawkinge on Saturday 14th November 2009 from 10.00am until 4.00pm.

The entrance fee is £2.00 which includes a raffle ticket to win a quilt which each member had a hand in its making.
