Fire crews battle for five hours to contain house blaze

Six fire crews fought a blaze in Folkestone for five hours after flames tore through a block of flats on Sunday (18 October).
 

The blaze which started on the first floor gutted the house, which was split into flats, in St Johns Church Road, Folkestone, at just after 12.30pm on Sunday afternoon.

It is reported that no one was hurt in the blaze.

An investigation has begun to determine the cause.
