The Not In My Neighbourhood campaign will run from October 19 until November 8 and aims to reduce incidents which have the greatest impact on local people.

To achieve this Kent Police will be working closely with Neighbourhood Watch, local councils, Kent Fire and Rescue Service, Clean Kent, the Probation Services, the Kent and Medway Camera Safety Partnership, Kent County Council and the Medway Unitary Authority.

The campaign covers half term, Halloween and firework celebrations and will focus on three themes:

*Crime and disorder - this will include action to reduce incidents of anti-social behaviour associated with Halloween and fireworks and protect the most vulnerable members of our communities.

*Anti-social use of vehicles - this will include specialist patrols targeting those motorists who put lives at risk through the use of inappropriate speed, using mobile phones, not wearing seatbelts, driving uninsured/un-roadworthy/untaxed vehicles and off road motorcycling.

*Environmental anti-social behaviour - activities will aim to improve the environment through the removal of graffiti, rubbish and abandoned/untaxed vehicles. Enforcement activity will include the identification and targeting of those individuals/companies who are responsible for fly-tipping.
