New Dover Boulogne service planned

A new cross channel ferry could be sailing between Dover and Boulogne by February.

Following the collapse of SpeedFerries fast craft service to Boulogne, the French port has spare capacity and it has been reported that LD Lines are looking to run their ship, the 29,000 tonnes Norman Spirit, between the two ports.

LD Lines are also about to start a new service between Dover and Dieppe next month.
