Call for council to deep clean Hawkinge playing field litter

Shepway Council has been approached to clear litter from an area close to a Hawkinge playing field.

Lib Dem campaigner Neil Matthews has today reported to Shepway Council high levels of litter on the playing fields and in the hedges adjacent to Blenheim Drive in Hawkinge.

He has asked Shepway District Council to arrange for a "deep clean" of the area.
