A new high speed passenger ferry service is to start operating between Ramsgate and Boulogne in the Spring.

Euroferries state of the art 320ft long high speed ferry will make the crossing in just 75 minutes.

The vessel has extensive onboard 'tax paid' shopping area, restaurants and first class designated area and will carry cars, coaches and foot passengers.

'Euroferries Express Coaches' commuter service will link the ferry between London via Ramsgate, Canterbury and the Medway Towns and connect the service to London and the Olympic venues.

The fastcraft service from Dover to Boulogne, operated by SpeedFerries ceased trading towards the end of last year but a new LD ferries conventional service on the same route is starting in within the next few months.
