After 18 years of studying big cat sightings across Kent, Sussex and London, researcher Neil Arnold is to publish his book, 'Mystery Animals of Kent'.

The 300 page book covers 18 years of eye-witness reports and accounts dating back centuries of puma, black leopard, lynx and smaller cats from Hawkinge to Sevenoaks, from Ashford to Sheppey, including Neil's own encounters.

The book also covers reports of animals such as mystery snakes, boar, wallabies, exotic birds and spookier creatures. It is due to be published before Christmas.

Neil would also like to hear from anyone who has seen a large cat in the Hawkinge area.
