Former Hawkinge teacher's Battle of Britain book is finished

Dear Editor,

I have now finally finished my book on the Battle of Britain in which Hawkinge is mentioned in respect of the fact that I began my teaching career in this village.

When the book is published I hope that people in the area will look out for it as both Hawkinge and Elham are mentioned.

I thank you for assistance with the photogaphs of Hawkinge Primary School.
