A Novelty Dog Show  is taking place at Hawkinge Community Centre, Heron Forstal Avenue, Hawkinge next week.

It’s a great chance to enter your pedigree pooch or manic mongrel into any of the fourteen fun competition categories which includes, The Dog the Judge Would Most Like to Take Home, Best Child and Dog and Dog Most Like It’s Owner.

Just turn up on Saturday 27th September to join in the fun, registration starts at 11.00am and judging begins at noon, entry into each category is £1 each. All dogs entering must be 6 months or over but bitches in season should not be brought along. Children under 16 must be supervised by a responsible adult.

As well as the Fun Dog Show there will be displays and helpful advice on responsible dog ownership, poop scooping, neutering, what to do if a dog is lost or found, micro chipping, your dog’s health and the control of dogs.
